The companion (Sahabi e Rasool) of the Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ), Hazrat Ubai bin Kaab (RA) said that I take vow (Kasam) that it’s the 27th night of Ramadan. Therefore, it’s clear that it is among the 5 nights 0f Ramadan in which it is said that to find out by worshipping in all those nights, although there are clues that it must be the 27th night. This night is kept secret, as it has immense benefits that it’s sufficient for the forgiveness of the whole Ummah if the people worship and ask for forgiveness in this night. Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (ﷺ) said ‘find out the night of glory in the last Ashra of Ramadan’ that means the last odd ten days of Ramadan.
The first verse of its says, “We sent down the Quran in the night of glory” which is also known as Laylatul Qadr or Shab e Qadar. Allah (ﷻ) has made everything for a reason and in the same way, every surah in the Holy Quran has its own importance and Benefits.Īccording to the numbering, Surah Qadr is the 97th surah of the Holy Quran with 5 verses that talk about the importance of the glorious night.
